Due to the nature of wood, some boards may be engraved slightly lighter or darker than the photo shows. Natural characteristics of Acacia wood will include knots, blonde color lines/stripes in the grain, minor cracks, and coloring. Each wood board is unique due to natural wood elements. If there is a definitive blonde stripe in the wood, it’s 100% natural.
Care Instructions
- Hand wash only with damp cloth. (avoid dishwasher to prevent wood from warping or cracking) Dry immediately after washing.
- Treat the board with butcher block or food safe mineral oil as needed, and/or at least once a month. (to prevent wood from drying out)
- Please DO NOT cut on the engraved side of board. Safe for food contact, this is the display side of the board and is intended to be a serving board and not a cutting board. (if using board for cutting, use the side that is not engraved to maintain its beauty for serving)
